We first opened Blackkat’s storefront in Chester in 2016. Now located in a larger space in town, and with a portion of the shop dedicated to our workshop, you can watch leather goods being crafted every day we’re open. We also showcase a variety of other local artists and crafters from the Connecticut River Valley. 

Chester is a quintessential small New England town that is carving itself a space in Connecticut’s art scene. With a sprawling main street and close proximity to many attractions, it’s perfect for a day trip or weekend away.
